Drew and Grayson are quite the talkers these days and I am trying my best to remember all the precious things they are saying. I have started writing things down because I don't want to forget them. Here are a few of the things they have been saying lately....
Drew:
1. "Who's making all that cracket?" (I would say it's usually him and his brother Grayson!)
2. After bathtime, he likes me to rock him while still all wrapped up in his towel. I usually just sit on the floor with him, but today he mentioned that I should go get the rocking chair. I didn't, but listen to his thought process about why I could bring the rocking chair into his room..."You get it pecause (because) you ate your sandwich. You're strong!"
3. "Jay Jay is my fwavwit (favorite)." (That is Jay Jay the Jet Plane...a new cartoon we stumbled upon lately. The faces on these planes are actually quite creepy in my opinion.)
4. "Shhh, Mommy don't talk. I need to tell you somefing (something)."
Grayson:
1. I often have to tell the boys to stay in their beds until it's time to get up. One morning last week I decided to crawl into bed with Grayson while we waited for Daddy to leave for work. As we were lying there, Grayson asked, "Did you set the timer?" I replied, "For what?" And he sweetly answered, "For time to wake up!"
2. "Daddy, will you play with me? We have lots of toys!" (That one melted my heart!)
3. Grayson is our slow eater. He would rather talk, and he DOES, all through mealtime. So this is a regular comment we hear from his mouth, "Five (or whatever) more bites and I get to be done!" (At least he's happy about it!)
4. "I wuv you, Mommy."
And they have both been singing the song to Little Einsteins (a fwavwit cartoon) all day long. It's soooo cute!

Thanks for keeping us posted on all these wonderful and new things the boys are saying. I just love hearing about them.
Aunt Ginny
Isn't it amazing what they say! Is there anything Mommy or Daddy says that is repeated later?
I love the commentary of toddlers and preschoolers. Their words are such a window into their thought processes...so transparent are they!!! Thanks for sharing these precious, heartwarming comments. And I am so glad you are recording them both for your sake and theirs. Read them in those inevitably frustrating moments that three-year-olds present! :)
