Yesterday was the perfect day! It actually began the night before when my newborn son gave me a wonderful gift...extra sleep. He had one of the best nights he's had since coming home from the hospital, and for that, I was very thankful. Then the morning really began when two sweet little boys came running into my room yelling, "Happy Mother's Day" and jumped in the bed with me for hugs and kisses! After my shower, which was taken at a
leisurely pace, breakfast was served...yummy cinnamon rolls! Then the kitchen was cleaned - and NOT by me! Yea! We spent most of the morning just hanging out together as a family...even getting a few chores done in the process, which was great! Then it was lunch at my neighbor Marco's house. This is our regular Sunday routine and is always such a treat. Marco is quite the chef and fixed one of my favorite dishes yesterday. Lunch was topped off with strawberries and cream (another regular treat at Marco's house) and a buttermilk pie that my hubby bought for Mother's Day! Talk about delicious. Then it was naptime...zzzzzz. After dinner, we dropped Baby Roe off at Grammy and Paw Paw's house so that we could take the big boys to Target for a toy and then to Andy's for some ice cream. (I REALLY milked Mother's Day for all it was worth, don't ya think?) Anyway, it was just a perfect day.
And here are the three boys that call me Mommy....
Drew, Grayson, and Roe.

It sounds like you had a great Mother's Day! I'm so glad : )
Our computer was down for a little while last week and I've just caught myself up on our news and I'm SO glad that everything has calmed down and that Roe is gaining enough. I definitely feel what you mean about "your fault" when there isn't any weight gain... we went through the same thing when Carter had to be readmitted. You all are in our prayers like always - but especially now during this new time in your lives.
I can't wait to come see y'all next month!
Give those precious boys a kiss from their cousin.
Love you!
