Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving started early with the arrival of our friends' baby girl last Wednesday morning. Meet Sidney Margaret...weighing in at 7lbs., 11oz., and stretching 20 inches long. We are definitely thankful for this precious gift from the Lord! Love you, sweet baby girl!! And congrats, Jeramie and Carol!! Now to our Thanksgiving festivities.... Let's begin with the two people who started all this craziness.... ...Grandma and Grandpa Egg! Love, love, love these two wonderful people I am blessed to call my grandparents!! (7 kids, 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren!!)

Here is Roe warming up quickly with my cousin Rob - I still call him Robbie, but I don't think that's preferred!!

My cousins in the kitchen!!

Dana and Tim - the hosts!

My Uncle Ronnie became one of Roe's favorite people over the weekend...especially when one of the dogs was around! It was so sweet to see Roe run to him to be rescued from Nelly! (You can see the ferocious Nelly in a later picture....)

Turkey Time!! This clan cooks up some yummy food...and can put it away too! Ha!

Watching the dogs from the window...

Grayson and Drew with...you guessed it - Nelly!! Isn't she so sweet? It was a "break-through" weekend for these two boys who aren't really used to being around dogs. Before we left, they were playing for hours in the backyard with three dogs!

The Three Musketeers! (D and G with cousin Robert)

Pretty girls...my cousins, Chelsee and Becca

We looked through lots of old photo albums that my cousin Michael brought this year. This picture shows Drew with my Aunt Dana. He is pointing to a picture of my parents and sister when she was a baby. Dana told Drew that was his Grammy and Paw Paw, to which he replied, "That doesn't look like my Paw Paw!" Ha!

Four Generations
Drew, my mom, my grandma, me, Grayson, my grandpa, and Roe

And I just had to finish with this precious picture...Roe with my 92 year old Grandpa! So special! It was wonderful to see a lot of my family at Thanksgiving. It was a smaller group than usual, and we missed those not able to attend this year, but I will always treasure every moment spent with these people I get to call my family. Thank you, God, for family.
