Well, this first one wasn't really an art project...it was a baking one. We made "monkey munch" and then the boys scraped the bowl with their fingers to get every possible bit of chocolate! I thought it looked artsy so I snapped a picture!
This one was a lot of fun...our first attempt at painting with marbles. Grayson went first.... I don't think we used enough paint b/c there was still some white showing through, but I thought it was very cool, and he was so proud. Drew on the other hand got a bit carried away with the green paint. Although his took a long time to dry, it turned out pretty terrific as well.

Nana taught the boys a rainbow song...and they love it. So one day I decided to have them try their hands at a rainbow. (Excuse the crinkled paper, but we used some tissue I saved from some dishes I had gotten...oh, yes, we are learning to recycle too, but I'll save that for another day!) Anyways, I drew my rainbow first for an example...
And here's Drew's....

It's funny that you posted this, because I just posted my kids doing several art projects too. I've been trying to be more intentional in that area as well! Loved reading this post to get some more ideas to try with my kids. Miss you!
Wonderful art work! Mom is a great help! Have you tried
making little animals with thumbprints yet? Put your thumb in
a little paint and put it down on a paper. Then draw little lines to make feet. Several thumbprints together in different colors makes the "Very Hungry Catepillar". Others...ants,bees,butterfly,bird, mouse, fish, sheep, cow, ladybug, mushrooms, mailbox, submarine. Thumbprint art!
