4 year visit

Drew and Grayson had their 4 year check up yesterday. Here are their "stats"....

Drew weighed 32.6 pounds and measured 39 inches tall!

Grayson weighed 30.8 pounds and measured 38.5 inches tall!

They were super for the doctor....sitting still, opening their mouth when asked, etc.. It was great UNTIL I told them they would be getting shots. They weren't bad by any means, but they just kept saying, "It's gonna hurt! It's gonna huuurrrt!" I said that it would hurt, but that we had to get them and then we'd go get ice cream! Grayson went first...he cried, but had his blankie and was better in just a bit. Then Drew went and well, he cried....and cried, and cried. When we tried to leave the room, he said he couldn't walk...so I carried him. I put him down to pay out, and he continued to be quite dramatic about the pain in his leg. It was sad...and kinda comical too. It's funny to me because the nurse practitioner in the NICU nicknamed him "Drama King" and he has lived up to that name! After we left, we headed to Andy's Frozen Custard for some chocolate ice cream. The ice cream (or I guess it's actually custard) was yummy and made everyone feel better. Although there was some discomfort from the shots last night, both announced this morning that they didn't hurt anymore! Yea!
