Water Fun

Water, water, and more water! We have been busy playing in the water the last two weeks. Of course, we still love the backyard pool and water hose...it always offers relief from the hot Texas sun. Here's Grayson in a classic pool photo... We finally were able to get together with Ms. Pat for a fun day at the Spray Park! This picture is a bit blurry, but it was the only one that I could easily point out my children for a blog. Besides, I took this with my left hand while nursing Roe...so, not too shabby me thinks!
I love this one! Roe already loves Ms. Pat and enjoyed taking a little nap while Mommy played with the big boys in the water.
Look at this cute face! Oh, I just love kissing those little cheeks. His hat is a hand-me-down from his brothers...given to them from their Aunt Jessica! (Did you recognize it, Jess?) More water on a playdate, but notice my children aren't in the pool. They were so excited to play at Caleb's house, but wanted to play with all of the inside toys.... so here is Mical-Anne (3), Caleb (3), and Jacob (2) having fun in the water....
...and here is Drew playing kitchen in the house. (Grayson was inside too, but no cute pics!)Grayson joined the others outside when it was time for popsicles. Ahhh, summertime treats!Inside the house were the babies...Roe (3 1/2 months), Mia (7 months), and Chloe (4 months). Off to the pool the next day with the Burtons. I didn't get many pics, but here's Laura with a patriotic Baby Roe. (His trunks are from Aunt Cari, and his shirt, "Mr. Independent" is from Grammy). I did get him in the water, but he cried, so it didn't last long.
Here are Drew and Grayson taking a cookie break before we left. They wore speedo suits that have floaties in them on this day. They loved them because I told them they had big bellies from too much food! They remembered this later and giggled in their mirror at home - so funny! And here are two more cute pictures of Roe - another hat from Aunt Jessica...
and a sweet baby face while changing into dry clothes. This picture is one of my favs!A side note: I love having a blog...not because I blog often, or have a lot to say, but because I am much more intentional about taking my camera these days. I think to myself , "I don't want to miss something that could be 'blog-worthy,'" and in the end, I may not even blog, but I have so many pictures of these wonderful memories with my children. It's great!

Becky...

I love your Mama's Heart expressed through these photos. I think it is wonderful to see mamas ENJOYING their children...SAVORING the moments with them...living to SHOWER THEM with exciting and FUN experiences! You are doing all of these things and so much more with your handsome brood!

I know that you, like me, look at your children and think with gratitude, "How great is our God that He would allow me to shepherd these miraculous lives." Oh, He didn't have to be so gracious...but He was and is!!!!

Thanks for the great summer pictures. They make me look forward to future fun with our quickly-growing Susannah Joy. She is now 9 weeks old. YIKES!!! Loving the moments of these teeny-weeny days...

Love,
Lacey
