At 6 months...

At 6 months, our baby boy is looking good! He had his check-up last week....weighed 13 lb., 9 oz. and stretched 25 3/4 inches long. He is eating rice cereal as well as some veggies (carrots, sweet potatoes, and peas so far!) and LOVES it all! Sure, he makes a funny face at the first taste of trying the new vegetable, but always opens wide for another bite. He gets especially excited when he sees me fixing his cereal and I often have to make more because he cries when it is all gone. Oh, and he thinks he is big time now sitting in his high chair - so cute! He is also becoming mobile. No, not crawling yet, but he can sure get to his Mommy if he needs to! Bathtime is still a favorite activity. Last night he cried when I took him out of the bath, and another time he almost jumped out of my arms when he saw his bathtub still sitting on the counter. (He now bathes in his little tub IN the big bathtub because of how much he likes splashing water!) He is "saying" all sorts of sounds (even m's and n's....maybe he'll say mama first!), blowing bubbles, and becoming really animated. I love watching him get excited... about a toy, playing pat-a-cake, or interacting with his brothers. It's just pretty fun around here, I'd say. I love you, Roe!
